Two student play in a Lilliput playhouse
Jeremy Tepper

On February 9, a large group of pre-student teachers from Robert Morris University visited the district to check out some of its classes and programming. Over a wide-ranging tour, pre-student teachers observed lego league, student centers, Lilliput houses, World of Work, District C, drone soccer, podcasting, and much more.

Over the past several years, the district has fostered a strong relationship with Robert Morris University, hosting pre-student teachers for tours, some of whom have gone onto student teach or teach in the district. The district was proud to show off some of the things that make Duquesne special, and looks forward to continuing to strengthen its relationship with Robert Morris University and other nearby colleges.
