Two puppets speak during an assembly
Jeremy Tepper

On March 4, our students were visited by 'The Kids on the Block', a troupe of puppets that teaches students about disabilities. Among the puppets that performed, students learned about blindness, deafness, and cerebral palsy, and how people with those disabilities are not only able to get by, but thrive.

The district is committed to fostering an inclusive, understanding, and accepting school culture, and this was an excellent, engaging assembly to further that cause.
