Dr. William Kerr
Dr. William H. Kerr, Jr. spent 42 years in public education as a teacher, principal, and district administrator, including 25
years as a school superintendent. Dr. Kerr now serves as the Chief Recovery Officer for the Duquesne City School District to provide academic and financial oversight for educational programs and services and to ensure Recovery Plan implementation. He was appointed by the Pennsylvania Secretary of Education.

Dr. Kerr earned a Bachelor’s of Science degree at Slippery Rock State College, a Master’s degree from Duquesne University, and an Educational Doctorate degree from the University of Pittsburgh.
