JANUARY IS SCHOOL DIRECTOR
RECOGNITION MONTH
In honor of School Boards and their commitment to our students, schools and community, the Pennsylvania School Boards Association (PSBA) has once again designated January School Director Recognition Month.
Duquesne City School District is responsible for educating and / or responsible for tuition costs for 1,150 students who attend the K-8 Duquesne School, 9-12 students who attend East Allegheny and West Mifflin Area School Districts, those enrolled in charter / cyber and charter brick and mortar schools, and special education students who attend out-of-district placements.
The Duquesne City School Directors are dedicated public servants and each care about our children and youth, families, and the greater school community.
To demonstrate our appreciation and gratitude to our elected officials, the School District Administration will recognize School Directors during the Receiver Business Meeting on Tuesday, January 24, 2023 at 6:30 p.m.
When you see a Board member in the community, please take time to extend a "Thank You" for their commitment to our students, employees, and community.
