DUQUENSE CITY SCHOOL DISTRICT POLICIES
School Visitation
Parents/guardians are welcome to visit the school. Please call the school office to arrange a time to avoid class interruptions, unnecessary traffic and confusion. You must sign in at the office and you will receive a visitor’s badge which should be returned at the end of the visit.
The school staff welcomes your interest in solving any problem that your child may encounter in school. If the problem relates directly to the classroom, it is best if you and the teacher work together to find a suitable solution.
Parents may request a conference with the teacher or principal at a mutually convenient time. You may call the school for an appointment or send a request in writing to the teacher concerned. Every effort will be made to arrange a time which is suitable for all persons involved. Teachers will also initiate conferences as the need arises.
ANY UNAUTHORIZED VISITOR MAY BE CITED FOR TRESPASSING. THE LOCAL POLICE MAY ALSO BE NOTIFIED.
